CIDER - Clinical Data Extractor
What is CIDER?
CIDER (Clinical Data Extractor) is a powerful tool designed to extract structured clinical data from PDF documents and convert it into organized tables for analysis and reporting.
Purpose:
CIDER helps researchers, clinicians, and data analysts efficiently process clinical PDF documents by automatically extracting relevant variables and organizing them into a structured format. This eliminates the need for manual data entry and reduces errors in data collection.
How to use CIDER:
- Select Variables: Choose which variables (columns) you want to extract from your PDF files. You can select from preset variables or create custom ones using the "Manage variables" button.
- Upload PDFs: Drag and drop your PDF files or click to select them. CIDER supports batch processing of multiple files.
- Extract Data: Click "Extract Table Data" to process all uploaded files. The system will extract the selected variables from each PDF and display the results in a table.
- Download Results: Once extraction is complete, you can download the results as an Excel file for further analysis.
